Celeste!! I'm falling in love with you in each word I read on here. You're a soul sister for sure and I love how uplifting and authentic you are. So happy to have found you on here and hope to connect outside of Substack. Maybe you'd like to be on our podcast Healthcare from the Soul?! It's about people who were in the conventional HC world, left to heal themselves and then returned in some other way in the healing arts or in a new approach in the system. Let me know if you'd be up for it!
Erica, thank you for your kind words of support. I am also so very thrilled and blessed to have found your writing, as well. I know that there are others like us but it proves to be a challenge to find them and connect. I would love to be in your podcast and am honored you would ask. Let me know the best way to connect with you to discuss further!
Wow … just have to say that this hit home for me tonight. I’ve been struggling with finding joy, self-love & acceptance and happiness, maintaining daily rituals, journaling and my purpose in my retirement years (I retired in 2016).
This newsletter provides guidance and your words are enlightening/inspiring. Thank you and I will be putting your recommendations to use in MY daily life.
I’m so happy the article helped you. You are not alone in your struggles. Like many people, I, too, have to do this inner work to be able to not take life so seriously and to not let other people’s fears affect me. Either way blocks good things from finding me. As you practice and take time each day to sit quietly without trying to make anything happen, the feeling that you’re struggling will begin to break apart on its own and leave you and that’s when joy and love emerge from within you, hidden all this time. This cannot be forced. It takes time like any worthwhile journey. Make everyday an opportunity. No day is ever a punishment. All days are gifts.
Your words are so encouraging and always touches my heart. I am so blessed by your friendship and blessings you have brought to my life. I hope we stay in touch so we have a chance to meet up in the near future. Love, Karen
