Thank you for this issue. I experienced an Angel when my Gaul bladder surgery went wrong. After the surgery I couldn't poop. I was in the hospital for 16 days. The Surgent left for vacation after my operation. I won't go into a lot of details ---he returned and knew right away what had happened--this happens to one in a million persons--anyway he said he would have to operate and correct the problem. I don't like going under, so I was actious. I knew my family back in Mass. were praying and so was I. The day of the second surgery, a priest came in and said hello to my roommate and her visitor, then closed the curtain to talk with me--he said I understand you are worried--lets join hands and say an "Our Father". In the middle of this prayer I felt a warmth I have never felt before. At the end of the prayer," you will be fine." and left. A few minutes lady the nurse came in to tell me the time for the surgery. I asked her who was that priest. What priest--we don't have a priest on call today. My roommate said" we saw a priest". The nurse went out to look for him, no one saw him. A cleaning lady winked at me and whispered you were visited by the St. Jude angel. (name of the hospital also) You bet there are angels. I have named mine George. Elaine L.
I absolutely loved your story! It was so beautiful. I had goosebumps. Although my dad is a southern Baptist, I was not raised religious. I chose to be baptized Catholic during med school in Philadelphia. But, I’ve always had a spiritual sense about me. Growing up, I remember my mom was convinced that I was protected by angels because every time she tried to punish me, something bad would happen to her. I didn’t understand until I was older. Thank you for sharing such an incredible story. I really appreciate it.
Thank You for this issue. I have since childhood been fascinated with Angels. My home is filled with many figurines and such. My Loving husband as all these years (44) put up with my fascination and many times indulges me in buying books and such. No matter what anyone tells me, I Believe. I love the feather with the bands. They are both beautiful. The frog made me smile. He/She looks like it is smiling for the photo.
I’m happy you found this inspirational. Until now, I’ve always thought that angels showed up for special people in extraordinary circumstances. Recent literature supports the idea that anyone can ask angels for help. This is a change in our thought process. I looked up the meaning of feathers out of curiosity and the consensus is that they are messages from the spirit world to guide us, if you are of the belief. I spotted the frog in an outdoor mall of all places hanging out by condensation dripping off of the misters onto the concrete. When he saw I had spotted him, he turned, looked up at me and posed as I took a photo. He was quite the character. I thanked him kindly for the good luck!
