Dreams and Wishes
While attending Kyle Cease’s 2-day weekend webinar called Magic Money, I realized how intertwined every aspect of abundance is as to each element’s connection with the flow of the universe and their relationship with the universal laws of physics. The take away message was that energy flows where attention goes. If our mind keeps thinking about lack, what we don’t have, and what we wished we had, the universe says,
“Your wish is my command.”
and gives you more of —nothing, or lack.
Talking about money was rather taboo in my family growing up. My dad said pretty much on a daily basis,
“Money doesn’t grow on trees,” or “You have to study and work hard to make money.”
I grew up viewing the topic of money with separation and with negativity, rather than the beautiful form of energy it really is. Like health and happiness, money, when treated like a form of energy it really is, flows back and forth, in and out, away and back to us continuously in cycles. When treated with grace, kindness and love, we give it permission to flow freely to us as a by-product of our states of being—love, peace and joy.
Follow your passion, do what you love to do no matter how illogical it may sound, no matter what people around you may say or how they may disagree with your choices and the money just flows to you with ease. Thus is the nature of nature. Abundance of health and well-being follows the exact same law.
Everyday I hear individuals lament about how they dream and wish for just one day that they won’t feel the pain, or that they won’t have the illness anymore or that they won’t have to take so many drugs. And while I understand and I have explained that it doesn’t feel well to not feel well, we seem to be unable to see or feel beyond the current situation. We are not allowing ourselves to even decide to have a better day. Mentally, we seem to give up everyday before we even start.
In last week’s blog I explored the importance of deciding. When we decide we want to feel vibrant, the universe starts to pave the way for that to happen. Our disappointment comes from our impatience and our expectation that our results meet our deadlines. We forget that like everything, even nature has a timeline. This can be explained that whenever we plant down any seed, it follows a timeline and does eventually grow into a tree, but not overnight.
Especially over the last 5 years, I have noticed that the most successful individuals in the health transformation were those who first believed that they could get better, and then made the decision that they were on their way to making that happen, and that they did have inherent powers of healing which was reinforced when they heard others do this or read testimonials about others. Because, we know that what is possible for one person is always possible for everyone.
As I explained in last week’s newsletter, much of our daily energy is focused on all the things that didn’t work yesterday and then we imagine how we would get the same results tomorrow instead of living in the present moment or the “now.” We spend so much time complaining about what we perceived as bad or wrong instead of being grateful for what was perceived as good or right. What most of us don’t realize is that attitude and mood create a certain pattern of energy. Just because we don’t see it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist and we know energy fields exist both in the negative and in the positive. If we wish to feel better tomorrow, doesn’t it make sense to begin acting on that today?
It’s like you have a project to build a bird house and paint it blue and that you want to have that completed in 2 weeks. Most of us would spend an inordinate amount of time worried about how we won’t find the right color paint or the right materials and tools instead of just heading out to the store to begin gathering the materials and finding the right paint color. Now, we may end up building a different bird house than intended from the start or that the color was different, but the key is to step in the right direction and take action.
Sadly, so many times, I would hear people say how much they want to feel or get better and then to hear them argue with themselves how that is not possible; and then I have to ask them multiple times whether they were really interested in getting better or staying the same. I literally would witness them going back into the cages in which they’ve locked themselves.
On the other hand, the success stories are so inspiring and beautiful to see. These individuals “decide” that they want to get better. They shift their thoughts from the negative to the positive and they write their lists of gratitudes everyday. These folks understand that their mindset changes everything and can lift them to higher levels of existence. Scientific research now shows that having a positive attitude upgrades your cells internally and externally and strengthens your immune system as well as healing abilities.
The first step is to avoid negative self talk. I hear many people do this unconsciously. How many times have we heard people say,
“I can’t believe I was so stupid,” or “That was so dumb of me,” or “I can’t believe I’m such a moron.” It is found that thoughts and words have direct access into our energy fields. This may seem a trivial point, but it is anything but that.
So, if we want to live the best life possible whether it is to receive abundance of health, happiness or wealth, the same principles apply. Decide what and how we want to feel and have for our lives and then bring that future goal into the present moment by the way we phrase our words. As I have mentioned in many of my previous writings, make it a habit each day doing the following:
First thing when you wake up is to journal 8-10 things you are grateful for and take 1-2 minutes to feel them emotionally.
Do the Meridian Meditation with intentional statements. You would write down what you want or how you want to feel and then turn it into a question by adding “Why” in the beginning and then adding “that I didn’t notice before” at the end. Again, really feel them emotionally because studies show that immersing strong emotions with any thought creates a stronger message in the mind. Remember that the body is a faithful servant of the mind and will do whatever the mind tells it to do. You can also do this in front of the mirror.
Remember to take time to exercise and stretch and keep yourself well-hydrated.
Learn something new through reading or listening to a podcast. This stimulates the mind and opens it up to healing the body.
And then, just have faith and let the process come into its own by letting go and allowing things to flow. Be of the mindset that whatever stage you are in, everything is ok, perfect and temporary. Feeling grateful comes from the heart space and creates a level of peace and joy in the mind and doesn’t allow room for negativity to creep in. Frustration is just forcing a timeline on nature. Nature and the universe will always have their own timelines. Our job is to supply the water, soil and conditions to allow growth.
I heard a definition of faith beautifully stated in a podcast the other day. It went something like this,
“Faith is the ability to see the invisible, to believe in the incredible, and to receive what the majority would consider impossible.”
Remember that both faith in getting better and the fear of staying the same depend on what cannot be seen. Why not choose faith?
Meditation and Relaxation (in the morning or evening, or any time in between)
1) Find a quiet place and sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take a slow breath in through the nose (taking 5-7 seconds) and then exhale through the mouth slowly (taking 5-7 seconds). Repeat 2-3 more times.
2) Access the following Meridian points in any order you are comfortable with. You can always choose your favorite ones, as well. There are no strict rules on this. Say out loud the intentional statements while accessing the Meridian points. Remember to see last week’s and other previous issues for more examples.
—Chest point , one or both sides
—Hand blades, one hand or alternate between 2 hands
—Brow point, one or both sides
—Corner of the eye, one or both sides
—Under the eye, one or both sides
—Side or ribcage under the armpit, one or both sides
—Chest point, one or both sides
3) Intentional Statements
—Why am I so grateful for everything that I didn’t notice before?
—Why are there so many things in my life I’m grateful for that I didn’t notice before?
—Why are so many new things coming into my life that I’m grateful for that I didn’t notice before?
—Why are there so many positives in my life that I didn’t notice before?
—Why do I love myself so much that I didn’t notice before?
—Why do I feel so much peace that I didn’t notice before?
—Why is there so much light in my life that I didn’t notice before?
—Why am I so happy that I didn’t notice before?
—Why am I healing so quickly that I didn’t notice before?
—Why am I so abundant in beautiful blessings that I didn’t notice before?
—Why am I able to be in the present moment that I didn’t notice before?
—Why do I know that everything is perfect and temporary in the present moment that I didn’t notice before?
4) Return to 1) to conclude with breathing exercises.
